“Here, you will find the greatest and best in the world,” I was told by almost every taxi driver, but it’s true! Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, Burj Al Arab is the tallest 7 star hotel in the world, and the largest ferris wheel, Dubai Eye, is currently being built in Dubai. To make sure that you will not miss one of the best, most unique and biggest attractions in Dubai, I explored them for you!

Hier findet man das Größte und Beste auf der ganzen Welt, wurde mir fast von jedem Taxifahrer gesagt – und es stimmt! Burj Khalifa ist das höchste Gebäude der Welt, Burj Al Arab ist das höchste 7-Sterne-Hotel der Welt, und das größte Riesenrad, „Dubai Eye“, wird momentan in Dubai gebaut. Damit ihr auf eurer Reise nach Dubai auch keine der besten, einzigartigsten und größten Attraktionen verpasst, habe ich Sie für euch erkundet!

1.Dubai Marina

• When I was in Dubai 10 years ago, the district with about 120,000 inhabitants did not even exist. Today, I can only advise anyone to visit Dubai Marina! Enjoy the Californian flair on the beach promenade and watch the pompous cars at Al Mamsha St in the evening, also known as “The Walk”! In the evening, you should definitely treat your palate to Seven Sands! It was not easy to find an affordable restaurant with an excellent oriental menu! But at Seven Sands, you get, for about 75 € for 2 people, a generous starter, main course, and dessert and a mocktail! Those who still have room for an alcoholic cocktail and who want to enjoy the gigantic skyline at night can visit the bar “Shades” directly at the Dubai Marina Mall. Maybe you still feel like a late shopping trip, too.

• Als ich vor 10 Jahren in Dubai war, gab es das Viertel mit ca. 120.000 Einwohnern noch nicht. Heute kann ich nur jedem raten, Dubai Marina zu besichtigen! Genießt an der Strandpromenade den kalifornischen Flair und beobachtet abends die pompösen Autos auf der Al Mamsha St! Abends solltet ihr euren Gaumen auf jeden Fall bei Seven Sands verwöhnen lassen! Es war gar nicht so einfach, ein erschwingliches Restaurant mit einem ausgezeichneten orientalischen Menü zu finden! Aber bei Seven Sands bekommt ihr für ca. 75€ für 2 Personen eine ausgiebige Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise und dazu noch einen Mocktail! Wer danach noch Platz für einen alkoholischen Cocktail hat und die gigantische Skyline bei Nacht genießen will, kann die Bar „Shades“ direkt an der Dubai Marina Mall besuchen. Vielleicht habt ihr ja noch Lust auf eine späte Shoppingtour. 😉

2. Burj Khalifa

• An absolute MUST in Dubai is the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa was named after the president of Abu Dhabi because he was so kind and took over the financing in a bleak situation. You have the opportunity to visit the 124th and 125th floor for about 35 €, and the 148th floor for about 80 €. We went all the way to the top because we had “VIP” tickets and did not have to wait anywhere. The floor was not crowded at all and we were greeted with yummy little things. You can enjoy the view as long as you want! Do not forget to buy the tickets online, otherwise, it will be expensive and you have to wait a long time.

• Ein absolutes MUSS in Dubai ist das höchste Gebäude der Welt, Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa wurde nach dem Präsidenten von Abu Dhabi benannt, da er so nett war und die Finanzierung in einer brenzlichen Lage übernommen hat. Ihr habt die Möglichkeit den 124. und 125. Stock ab ca. 35€ zu besuchen und den 148. Stock ab ca. 80€. Wir sind bis ganz nach oben gefahren, da wir so „VIP“ Tickets hatten und nirgends warten mussten, das Stockwerk überhaupt nicht überfüllt war und wir mit leckeren Kleinigkeiten begrüßt wurden. Den Ausblick könnt ihr so lange genießen wie ihr wollt! Vergesst nicht die Tickets vorher online zu erwerben, da es sonst teuer wird und ihr lange warten müsst.

3. Atlantis, the Palm

• You want to have a day of action, fun, and relaxation? Then you are in the right place at Hotel Atlantis, the Palm! You can not only swim with dolphins or snorkel in a huge aquarium, but you can also fly over the palm with a helicopter! We first looked at the countless fish in the largest aquarium in Dubai (including sharks) and then rested on Nasimi Beach. Of course, you get hungry during such an exciting day and can eat right at the Nasimi Beach Restaurant. My personal highlight is the Underwater Suite at the Hotel Atlantis, the Palm.

• Ihr wollt einen Tag Action, Spaß und Entspannung haben? Dann seid ihr im Hotel Atlantis, the Palm genau richtig! Ihr könnt hier mit Delfinen schwimmen oder in einem riesigen Aquarium schnorcheln, aber auch mit einem Helikopter über die Palme fliegen! Wir haben uns erst die unzähligen Fische im größten Aquarium in Dubai angeschaut (inkl. Haie) und uns danach am Nasimi Beach ausgeruht. Natürlich bekommt man während so einem aufregenden Tag auch Hunger und kann direkt im Nasimi Beach Restaurant essen gehen. Mein persönliches Highlight ist die Underwater Suite im Hotel Atlantis, the Palm.

Accommodation:

Das Jannah Place Dubai Marina Hotel ist nur 5 Gehminuten von der Strandpromenade entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und von hier aus kann man jeden Trip einwandfrei starten! Preislich befindet es sich in der Mittelklasse für Dubai. Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich allerdings eine Moschee, was für Tiefschläfer aber kein Problem ist!
Wer es lieber etwas luxuriöser mag, sollte das Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach buchen. Es befindet sich direkt am bekannten Dubai Marina Walk und verwöhnt euch mit viele Annehmlichkeiten.

Jannah Place Dubai Marina is just 5 minutes’ walk from the seafront promenade. The rooms are very spacious and from here, you can start every trip perfectly! The price is in the middle class in Dubai. However, right next to the hotel is a mosque, which is not a problem for deep sleepers!
Those who prefer something more luxurious should book the Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach. It is located right on the famous Dubai Marina Walk and spoils you with many amenities.

Good to know!

• Der Freitag in Dubai ist wie unser Samstag und der Samstag ist wie unser Sonntag. Sonntags fängt also in Dubai die Woche schon wieder an.
• Taxifahren ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Ländern sehr preiswert, aber auch nicht mehr so preiswert wie es mal war! UBER lohnt sich in Dubai nicht wirklich! Die Preise sind nicht günstiger! Allerdings ist es oft hilfreich den Weg mit zu verfolgen, da die Taxifahrer öfters die Ziele nicht kennen und sich auch durchfragen. Diese Zeit wird natürlich auch in Rechnung gestellt!
• Lexus Taxis sind immer teurer als normale Taxis
• Alkohol ist teurer als in Europa und in vielen Lokalen wird auch kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt. Während Ramdan wird kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt. Ihr solltet auch besser nicht während Ramadan in die Emirate fliegen.
• Was viele nicht wissen ist, dass die Emirate mit eins der sichersten Länder ist. Ihr braucht euch also keine Sorgen machen!
• Auch bezüglich der Kleiderregelung braucht ihr euch keine Sorgen mehr machen, aber respektiert die Kultur und versucht euch passend zu kleiden!

• Friday in Dubai is like our Saturday, and Saturday in Dubai is like our Sunday. On Sundays, the week starts again in Dubai.
• Taxi driving is, in relation to other countries, very cheap, but not as cheap as it used to be. UBER is not really worth it in Dubai. The price of UBER is definitely not cheaper! However, it is often helpful to follow the way, as the taxi drivers often do not know the destinations and also ask questions. Of course, this time will also be invoiced.
• Lexus taxis are always more expensive than regular taxis
• Alcohol is more expensive than in Europe and in many places, no alcohol is served. During Ramadan, no alcohol is served. You should also not fly to the Emirates during Ramadan.
• What many do not know is that the Emirates is one of the safest countries. So you do not have to worry!
• Regarding the dress code, you do not need to worry anymore, but respect the culture and try to dress appropriately.

If you love the luxurious lifestyle, the discerning nightlife, and the stunning natural beauty, Mykonos is the perfect Greek island for you.
While Santorini is famous for its sunset, Mykonos has made a name for cool clubs and great parties. If you want to experience it to the fullest, there is no better place than the Cavo Tagoo Hotel. Often, 5-star hotels are rather conservative and fussy, but the Cavo Tagoo Hotel is the absolute opposite.
Wenn ihr den luxuriösen Lebensstil, das anspruchsvolle Nachtleben und die atemberaubenden Naturschönheiten liebt, ist Mykonos die perfekte griechische Insel für euch.
Während Santorini bekannt ist für seinen Sonnenuntergang, hat Mykonos sich einen Namen für coole Clubs und große Parties gemacht. Wenn ihr es in vollen Zügen erleben möchten, gibt es keinen besseren Ort als das Cavo Tagoo Hotel.

When we arrived at the port in Mykonos, I was really thrilled by our shuttle driver, Nick. Nick entertained us very well with cool lounge music on the 4-minute drive from the port to the hotel. He even recognized us in the evening when we were at the Mykonos city center and he took us back to the hotel. Although Mykonos is only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, we did not have to walk because of Nick’s help. He is such a cool and nice guy.

Bei unserer Ankunft am Hafen in Mykonos war ich schon total begeistert von unserem Shuttle Service Fahrer, Nick. Oftmals sind 5 Sterne Hotels eher etwas konservativ und „etepetete“ aber das Cavo Tagoo Hotel ist das absolute Gegenteil. Nick hat uns mit cooler Lounge Music auf der 4-minütigen Fahrt vom Hafen zum Hotel sehr gut unterhalten. Nick hat uns sogar abends in Mykonos auf der Straße wiedererkannt und mit zurück ins Hotel genommen. Obwohl Mykonos nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt ist 😉 . Er ist wirklich super cool und nett!

Back to our trip 🙂 … As soon as we arrived, I was astonished! In the glamorous and modern lobby, I immediately felt welcome. At the pool, I could directly recognize some blogger colleagues. Later, I noticed that not all guests were bloggers ;-), but many in the Cavo Tagoo Hotel simply like to use the scenery and take pictures of themselves. I liked it a lot! It did not bother anyone when it took about an hour to get my perfect breakfast pic. In general, I felt very comfortable doing what I wanted to do without being stared at.

Zurück zu unserer Reise 🙂 … Kaum waren wir angekommen, kam ich aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus! In der glamourösen und modernen Lobby habe ich mich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Am Pool habe ich direkt einige Blogger-Kollegen erkennen können bzw. habe ich auch später festgestellt, dass nicht alle Gäste Blogger waren, sondern viele im Cavo Tagoo Hotel einfach gerne die Kulisse nutzen und ein Bild von sich machen. Das hat mir übrigens besonders gut gefallen! Es hat niemanden gestört, wenn ich eine Stunde lang beim Frühstück versucht habe ein Bild von meinem Frühstück zu machen. Generell habe ich mich sehr wohl dadurch gefühlt, dass man tun und machen konnte, was man möchte.

Overall, we spent 3 days on Mykonos and could not leave our hotel because it is so relaxing and cool. Each room, suite, and villa is individually decorated and all have a private Jacuzzi bath and a sea view. We were lucky and could enjoy our own pool on our terrace.

At Cavo Tagoo Mykonos, you really experience the “Golden Side of Life”.

Insgesamt waren wir 3 Tage auf Mykonos und konnten unser Hotel kaum verlassen, weil es so entspannend und cool ist. Jedes Zimmer, jede Suite und jede Villa ist individuell eingerichtet und alle haben eine eigene Whirlpool-Badewanne und Meerblick. Wir hatten sogar Glück und konnten einen eigenen Pool am Zimmer genießen.

Wenn es um Essen geht, bietet Jerusalem nicht nur traditionelle Gerichte, sondern auch hervorragende internationale Gerichte. Die vielfältige Stadt bietet alles, von Sushi-Bars über koschere Gerichte bis hin zu armenischen, kurdischen, arabischen und jüdischen Restaurants, die in den eigenen Ecken der Altstadt liegen. Ich konnte zum Glück mehrere auf unserer Reise testen! Hier sind 4 meiner besten Cafés/Restaurants in Jerusalems.

When it comes to food, Jerusalem offers not only traditional dishes, but also excellent international dishes. The diverse city offers everything from sushi bars to kosher dishes to Armenian, Kurdish, Arabian and Jewish restaurants, located in its own corners of the old town. Luckily, I was able to test more on our trip! Here are 4 of my best cafes/restaurants in Jerusalem.

Breakfast in Jerusalem

Wer meinen Blog schon länger verfolgt, weiß, dass ich ein unheimlicher Frühstücksliebhaber bin. Zum Glück konnten wir auch in Jerusalem ausgiebig frühstücken und uns für unsere Tagesaktivitäten stärken.

Anyone who has been following my blog for a long time knows that I am an uncanny breakfast lover. Fortunately, we were able to eat breakfast extensively in Jerusalem and strengthen ourselves for our daily activities.

Café de Paris

Als ich den Namen „Café de Paris“ gehört habe, habe ich erstmal an ein französisches Lokal gedacht. Aber vor Ort habe ich dann gesehen, dass es absolut nicht einem französischen Lokal ähnelt. Weder die Einrichtung noch die Gerichte sind französisch. Das gemütliche Lokal serviert eine kleine, aber feine Karte mit frischen und leckeren Zutaten, wie zum Beispiel meine süßen Pancakes, meinen fruchtigen Smoothie und den besonders leckeren Kaffee!

When I heard the name “Café de Paris”, I thought of a French restaurant. But on the spot, I saw that it absolutely does not resemble a French restaurant. Neither the furnishings nor the dishes are French. The cozy pub serves a small but fine menu with fresh and tasty ingredients, such as my sweet pancakes, my fruity smoothie, and the delicious coffee!

Nocturno Café

Frühstücken, shoppen und Live Musik in einem? Wo? Das ist im Nocturno Cafe mitten in Jerusalem möglich! Von hier ist auch der Mahane Yehuda Markt nur ca. 7 Gehminuten entfernt. Wer also Appetit auf ein ausgezeichnetes israelisches Frühstück hat, sollte beim Nocturno Café vorbeischauen! Auch Veganer müssen hier auf nichts verzichten! Im ersten Obergeschoss kann man nach dem köstlichen Brunch noch etwas bei jungen Designern erwerben oder im Untergeschoss live Musik genießen! Mir hat das hippe Café sehr gut gefallen und ich bin ein ganz großer Fan von Nocturno’s Smoothies!

Breakfasts, shopping and live music in one? Where? This is possible in the Nocturno Cafe, which is located in the middle of Jerusalem! From here, the Mahane Yehuda Market is just a 7-minute walk away. So if you have an appetite for an excellent Israeli breakfast, you should look at the Nocturno Café! Even vegans do not have to do without! On the first floor, after the delicious brunch, you can buy something from young designers or enjoy live music on the ground floor! I liked the hip café very much and I am a huge fan of Nocturno’s smoothies!

Dinner in Jerusalem

Piccolino

Wer im Piccolino zu Abend isst, darf immer mit einer musikalischen Unterhaltung rechnen! Nicht nur die wunderschöne Location unter den bunten Regenschirmen lässt einen träumen, sondern auch die frischen Gerichte serviert von unheimlich netten Kellnern. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für israelische Verhältnisse genial. Die großzügigen Portionen lassen niemanden hungrig nach Hause gehen. Italienisches Flair mit einer mediterranen Orientierung!

Those who eat at Piccolino can always expect musical entertainment! Not only the wonderful location under the colorful umbrellas leave a dream, the fresh dishes served by eerily nice waiters do too.
Also, the price / performance ratio is ingenious for Israeli conditions. The generous portions do not let anyone go home hungry.
Italian flair with a Mediterranean orientation!

The Eucalyptus

Schon alleine der Weg zum Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert! Ihr spaziert durch den wunderschönen Teddy Park in eine kleine Gasse mit einem gemütlichen Restaurant, The Eucalyptus. Ich kann mich nicht mehr daran erinnern, wie viele Gänge wir hatten, aber jeder Gang hatte seine eigene Note. Die Gerichte sahen nicht nur einmalig aus, sondern haben auch einmalig geschmeckt! Nehmt einfach das Überraschungsmenü und lasst euch, wie der Name schon sagt, unzählige Male überraschen. Orientalisch, marokkanisch, jüdische Küche – richtig raffiniert. Nach dem Menü ist man auf jeden Fall sehr gut gesättigt und hatte ein einzigartiges Erlebnis!

Not only is this restaurant worth a visit, the way to it is also worth it! You get to stroll through the beautiful Teddy Park into a small alley with a cozy restaurant – The Eucalyptus. I cannot remember how many courses we had, but each course had its own touch. The dishes not only looked unique but they also tasted unique. Just take the surprise menu and, as the name implies, it will surprise you countless times. Oriental, Moroccan, Jewish cuisine – really refined. After the menu, one is definitely very well saturated and had a unique experience.

Wander in the old City of Jerusalem
- Die kompakte Altstadt von Jerusalem bietet viel zu sehen! Die Hauptsehenswürdigkeit von Jerusalem ist unterteilt in das Muslimische, Jüdische und Christliche Viertel. Die Altstadt wird von der historischen Mauer eingegrenzt, die auch auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert ist! In der Altstadt befinden sich die beliebtesten Orte von Jerusalem, wie zum Beispiel der Tempelberg oder die Klagemauer. Wir haben mit unserer Erkundung vom Jaffa Gate begonnen und man ist direkt mittendrin! Vorm Jaffa Gate befindet sich auch noch eine schöne Einkaufstraße, die besonders abends leuchtet.
- The compact Old Town of Jerusalem offers a lot to see! The main attractions of Jerusalem’s old city are divided into the Muslim, Jewish and Christian neighborhood. The old town is bordered by the historical wall, which is definitely worth a visit!
  The old town has the most popular places of Jerusalem, such as the Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall. We have begun with our exploration at the Jaffa gate, where you are right in the middle! In front of Jaffa Gate, there is also a nice shopping street, which lights especially in the evening.

Ramparts Walk
- Wie schon erwähnt, es gibt keinen besseren Einblick von oben über die Altstadt aber auch über die moderne Stadt von Jerusalem. Vergesst aber nicht ein Wasser mitzunehmen, da man ca. 1 Stunde benötigt um die Altstadt einmal zu umrunden.
- As mentioned earlier, there is no better view of the old town, but there is also no better view of the modern city of Jerusalem. Do not forget to take water with you, as it takes about an hour to circle the old town.
Mount of Olives
- Vom Ölberg aus habt ihr einen gigantischen Blick auf die Stadt und ihr könnt natürlich ein Bild mit dem heiß begehrten Kamel machen. Von hier oben seht ihr auch einen riesigen jüdischen Friedhof, der für die Juden von hoher Bedeutung ist.
- From the Mount of Olives, you have a giant view of the city and you can, of course, take a picture of the hotly coveted camel. From here, you can also see a huge Jewish cemetery, which is of great importance for the Jews.
Shopping in the old city of Jerusalem
- Wer Basare oder Flohmärkte mag, kann in den Gassen von Jerusalem feilchen und Mitbringsel für Zuhause finden.
- If you like bazaars or flea marketes, you can use the alleyways of Jerusalem to shop for souvenirs.
Take a picture with the colorful umbrellas
- Mein schönstes Bild in Jerusalem ist in der Yoel Solomon Straße entstanden! Schaut auch mal in die einzelnen Gassen hinein und lasst euch von den verschiedenen Regenschirmen überraschen.
- My most beautiful picture in Jerusalem was made in the Yoel Solomon Street! Take a look at the different alleyways and let yourself be surprised by the different umbrellas.
Visit the old Sea
- Der Besuch am Toten Meer ist wahrscheinlich der meist gebuchte Ausflug in Jerusalem. Die erste Stelle am Toten Meer ist auch nur 45 Minuten mit dem Auto von Jerusalem. Ich kann es nur empfehlen ein Auto zu mieten und mit dem Auto ans Tote Meer zu fahren. Auf dem Weg dorthin, fährt man durch die Wüste und es lohnt sich anzuhalten! Jedoch kann ich nicht empfehlen direkt am ersten Strand vom Toten Meer in Kalia halt zu machen. Die schöneren Stellen sind ca. 1 ½ Stunden von Jerusalem entfernt. Der Eintritt für 2 Personen inkl. Parkplatz hat ca. 20€ gekostet.
- The visit to the Dead Sea is probably the most booked trip in Jerusalem. The first place in the Dead Sea is only 45 minutes by car from Jerusalem. I recommend you rent a car and drive to the Dead Sea. On the way there, you should drive through the desert and it is worthwhile to stop! However, I cannot recommend to stop right on the first beach of the Dead Sea in Kalia. The more beautiful places are about 1 ½ hours from Jerusalem. The entrance for 2 persons, including parking, cost about 20 €.
Enjoy peace and quiet!
- Der Sabbat ist in Jerusalem heilig! Versucht keinen zu stören oder unangenehm aufzufallen. Genießt einfach die heilige Ruhe und dass ihr die Stadt fast für euch allein habt! Keine Sorge, manche Geschäfte haben auch offen. Ihr werdet nicht verdursten oder verhungern.
- The Sabbath is holy in Jerusalem! Do not try to disturb or unpleasantly attract attention. Just enjoy the sacred peace and the fact that you have the city almost for you alone! Do not worry, some shops are open. You will not be thirsty or starve.
Live in the centre
- Übernachten in Jerusalem ist nicht gerade preiswert aber wir haben eine super Lösung mittendrin gefunden. Nur 4 Minuten zu Fuß von der Altstadt (Jaffa Gate) und direkt an der Innenstadt, befindet sich das Royal View Hotel in Jerusalem. Momentan hat das Hotel noch keinen Aufzug, so dass man ein paar Treppen zu seinem Zimmer gehen muss aber der Aufzug wird bald da sein und das Treppen laufen lohnt sich.
- Staying in Jerusalem is not exactly cheap, but we have found a great solution in the middle. Just 4 minutes’ walk from the Old Town (Jaffa Gate) and right in the city center is the Royal View Hotel in Jerusalem. Currently, the hotel does not have an elevator, so you have to walk a few steps to your room but the elevator will be there soon and the stairs are worth it.

Was ihr für eure Reise wissen solltet:

Parken
- In Jerusalem werden sehr schnell Strafzettel geschrieben. Parkzettel bekommt man in Jerusalem allerdings nur mit einer App und wenn man einen israelischen Pass hat… Also sollte man als Tourist nur im Parkhaus parken.
Waffen
- Erschreckt euch nicht, wenn bewaffnete Männer vorbeikommen. Es ist sehr sicher in Jerusalem. Allerdings habe ich erstmal einen Schrei losgelassen, als ein Mann in zivil sein Maschinengewehr neben mir geladen hat.
Sprudelwasser
- Eine Flasche Sprudelwasser im Supermarkt kostet ca. 4€. Stellt euch auf stilles Wasser ein und dass Jerusalem nicht sehr preiswert ist.

Parking
- In Jerusalem, punishment is being written very quickly. You can only get one parking ticket in Jerusalem with an app and if you have an Israeli passport … So you should park as a tourist only in the car park.
Weapons

Bei einer Reise nach Tel Aviv denkst Du vielleicht zuerst an Kultur, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschichte. Das stimmt auch, aber nach meiner Rückkehr aus Israel denke ich vor allem an die freundlichen Menschen, ihre offene Gastfreundschaft und vor allem das ausgezeichnete Essen, das ich in Tel Aviv genießen durfte.

On a trip to Tel Aviv, you may think of culture, sights, and history. This is true, but after my return from Israel, I also think of the friendly people, their open hospitality, and above all, the excellent food I could enjoy in Tel Aviv.

Der erste Tag begann mit dem besten Frühstück in ganz Tel Aviv. Das gibt es im stylishen Meshek Barzilay in der Ahad Ha´am Straße in der Nähe der großen Synagoge. Auf der Karte finden sich indische und internationale Speisen. Alles stammt aus eigenem biologischen Anbau der Region, ist lecker gewürzt und noch viel leckerer angerichtet. Ich hatte ein Omelett mit Salat, Muffins und frischgepresstem Orangensaft und noch vielem mehr! Auf der Karte findet ihr es unter Meshek Morning. Es war ein gute-Laune-Frühstück, für das ich Herrn Barzilay, der aus einer angesehen Farmerfamilie in der Region stammt, noch lange dankbar sein werde.

The first day started with the best breakfast in Tel Aviv. There is the stylish Meshek Barzilay in Ahad Ha’am Street near the Great Synagogue. The menu includes Indian and international dishes. Everything comes from our own organic cultivation of the region and it is deliciously seasoned and much more delicious. I had an omelette with salad, muffins and fresh orange juice and much more! On the map, you will find it under Meshek Morning. It was a good-mood breakfast, which I was grateful to Mr. Barzilay, who comes from a respected farmer family in the region, for.

Ein weiteres Restaurant, das ich Dir nicht nur für ein Frühstück empfehlen kann, ist das Salva Vida, das nahe am Meer liegt. Dies ist ein italienisches Restaurant und ein echter Geheimtip. Hier haben wir ausgiebig gefrühstückt! Die Speisen werden alle nach den Orten benannt, wo der Koch schon war! Melbourne kann ich nur empfehlen! Die Speisekarte für Mittag und Abend ist reichhaltig, sehr kreativ und macht Appetit auf mehr. Der Service liest Dir Deine Wünsche buchstäblich von den Augen ab. Die Bedienung ist in Tel Aviv generell viel besser als hierzulande, doch das Salva Vida stellt alles in den Schatten. Das Preisniveau dort ist hoch, aber das ist es auch wert. Nur eines fiel mir im Salva Vida wirklich schwer: nach dem Frühstück zu gehen. Ich wäre gerne sitzen geblieben um die Leute zu beobachten und sehnsüchtig auf das Mittagessen zu warten.

Another restaurant that I can recommend is the Salva Vida, but not only for breakfast alone. Salva Vida is located near the sea. This is an Italian restaurant and a real secret tip. Here, we were extensively breakfasted! The food is all named after the places where the cook was already! I definitely recommend Melbourne! The menu for lunch and dinner is rich, very creative and makes appetite for more. The service literally reads your desires. The service is generally much better in Tel Aviv than here, but the Salvavida puts everything in the shadows. The price level there is high, but that is also worth it. Only one thing was really hard for me at Salva Vida and that was having to go after breakfast. I would have liked to sit around to watch the people and wait longingly for lunch.

Am Abend ging es dann ins vietnamesische „Florentin House“ in der Florentin Street. Vergesse Deine Kamera nicht! Die Gerichte sind so malerisch auf dem Teller drapiert, dass jedes Gericht ein kleines Kunstwerk für sich ist. Die etwas schummrige Atmosphäre am Abend und die unglaublich leckeren Cocktails sorgen dafür, dass sofort Wohlbefinden aufkommt. Du kannst an der Bar oder direkt an der Küchentheke sitzen, aber an den Tischen ist es gemütlicher. Jedes Gericht schmeckt anders und der Koch zaubert eine ungeheure Vielfalt an Aromen und Geschmacksrichtungen. Die knusprigen Meeresfrüchte waren schnell meine Favoriten, aber es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte.

In the evening, we went to the Vietnamese “Florentin House” in Florentin Street. Do not forget your camera! The dishes are so picturesque on the plate draped that each dish is a small piece of art in itself. The somewhat dull atmosphere in the evening and the incredibly delicious cocktails ensure that immediate well-being comes up. You can sit at the bar or directly at the kitchen counter, but the tables are more comfortable. Each dish tastes different and the chef conjures a tremendous variety of flavors. The crispy seafood was quickly my favorite, but there are also vegetarian dishes.

Da von Italien aus nach Tel Aviv geflogen bin, musste ich natürlich den Italiener “La Republica” probieren! Ich habe mich nochmal für ein paar Stunden wie in Italien gefühlt! Es ist ein sehr stilvolles Restaurant mit viel Ambiente. Das Essen mit frischen, selbst gemachten Zutaten schmeckt bezaubernd! Danke dem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service hat es uns an nichts gefehlt! Abgelegen von Rothschild Blvd. ist es auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

Since I flew from Italy to Tel Aviv, I definitely had to try the Italian “La Republica”! I felt again for a few hours like I was in Italy! It is a very stylish restaurant with a lot of ambiance. The food with fresh, homemade ingredients tastes delightful! Thanks to the friendly and attentive service, we did not miss anything! Removed by Rothschild Blvd. It is definitely worth a trip!

Das Tel Aviv Hilton ist meine nächste Empfehlung für den Abend, doch nur wegen der kulinarischen Extras, sondern hauptsächlich wegen der Lage, dem Ambiente und der Aussicht. Die Terrasse direkt am Meer ist atemberaubend, das Arrangement könnte so auch in der Südsee sein. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants im Innenbereich und in der Lobby ist von gediegener Eleganz, wie Du das vielleicht aus anderen Hilton Hotels kennst.

The Tel Aviv Hilton is my next recommendation for the evening, but not only because of the culinary extras but mainly because of the location, the ambiance, and the view. The terrace directly at the sea is breathtaking and the arrangement could also be like that in the South Sea. The decor of the indoor and the lobby is of a refined elegance, as you might know from other Hilton hotels.
