Es ist eines der höchsten Gebäude in Malmö. Es erscheint, als wäre es in Richtung Himmel gedreht worden. Ob ihr es glaubt oder nicht, aber: Das Hochhaus wird übrigens ganz normal von den Einwohnern bewohnt.

5-Ribersborgs Kallbadhus

It is one of the largest open-air bath located near the Ribersborgs beach in Malmö. It is 19 minutes away from the Turning Torso. So make sure that have some of the best memories here.

Here you will find all the accessories, clothing, gifts and much more. The mall can be regarded as one stop shop for everything that you require. One of the biggest benefits of Emporia is that it has the products of all the biggest brands. So you will defiantly leave the mall with several shopping bags.

Das Emporia Einkaufszentrum war definitiv mein Highlight! Es ist eines der größten und besten Einkaufszentren in Malmö. Hier findet ihr alles, was das Herz begehrt: Accessoires, Kleidung, Geschenke und vieles mehr. Jede bekannte Marke ist hier vertreten.

8-Øresund Bridge

When you want to visit theEmporia Mall you will get a chance to visit the Oresund bridge that has been constructed as the motorway and railway bridge. The cost of train ticket is 110SEK and you will have an amazing time in this journey. This ride will be worth your time and money.

Ein Tag in Malmö ist mit viel Spaß, Stil und Aufregung verbunden!

I love exploring new places. However, it is a reality that traveling is not always an easy task. Especially, if you have only two days time. You have to take care of several minor details to make sure that you will have the best time. Last weekend I planned my trip to Ystad in Sweden. It is a beautiful land with many exciting places to visit.

Ich liebe es, neue Orte zu erkunden. Allerdings ist es immer etwas schwerer, wenn man nur wenig Zeit hat. Man muss sich um einige kleine Details kümmern, um sicherzustellen, dass man die beste Zeit erleben wird. Am vergangenen Wochenende habe ich meine Reise nach Ystad in Schweden geplant. Es ist ein wunderschönes Land mit vielen aufregenden Orten.

This time my mum came with me. (She took most of the beautiful pictures 🙂 ). So to make sure that everything is perfect we planned and booked the train seats and our room in the Ystad Saltsjöbad in advance.

Diesmal kam meine Mutter mit mir (sie hat die meisten schönen Bilder gemacht :-)). Um sicherzustellen, dass alles perfekt ist, haben wir die Zugsitze und unser Zimmer im Ystad Saltsjöbad im Voraus geplant und gebucht.

Travelling

To begin our journey we had to take a flight from Cologne to Copenhagen. We paid each 50€ (return) for the flight tickets. From the airport to Ystad we travelled by train. I booked the tickets from Startsida. It took us one hour with the train to reach Ystad. However, for 17 Euro, the ride was very comfortable and the best thing was that it provided a free WiFi connectivity.

To reach the hotel I had to book a taxi from the station. I used the online services of Taxi booking Sweden and reached the hotel in 5 minutes at an affordable rate of 10€.

Um unsere Reise zu beginnen, mussten wir einen Flug von Köln nach Kopenhagen nehmen. Wir bezahlten für die Flugtickets 50 € pro Person (beide Richtungen). Vom Flughafen nach Ystad reisten wir mit dem Zug. Ich habe die Karten auf der Website Startsida gebucht. Es dauerte eine Stunde mit dem Zug, um Ystad zu erreichen. Allerdings war für 17 Euro die Fahrt sehr komfortabel und das Beste war, dass es kostenloses WiFi gab.

Um das Hotel zu erreichen, musste ich ein Taxi vom Bahnhof buchen. Ich habe die Online-Dienste von Taxi Booking Sweden verwendet und erreichte das Hotel in 5 Minuten zu einem erschwinglichen Preis von 10 €.

Ystad Saltsjöbad

It was a great decision to stay in Ystad Saltsjöbad. The best thing about the hotel was our room with the sea view. It was so calm and relaxing. The interior was simply breathtaking. The moment that you step inside it seems like you are in a whole new world.

Es war eine großartige Entscheidung, im Ystad Saltsjöbad zu übernachten. Das Beste an dem Hotel war unser Zimmer mit Meerblick. Es war so ruhig und entspannend, und die Inneneinrichtung einfach atemberaubend. In dem Moment, in dem du hineingehst, scheint es, als wärst du in einer ganz neuen Welt.

Junior suite sea view

We stayed in the junior suite room that provided the complete view of the sea. The bed was ok. I cannot really sleep on a soft mattress. Therefore I could relax on the cozy armchair. The bathroom was lovely, too. The minibar is filled with loads of tasty treats such as wine or champagne.

Die Junior Suite ermöglichte es uns wie in einem Märchen aufzuwachen. Das Bett war ok – ich kann nicht wirklich auf einer weichen Matratze schlafen. Allerdings konnte ich mich dann aber auf dem gemütlichen Sessel entspannen. Das Bad war auch sehr schön gestaltet. Die Minibar ist mit vielen köstlichen Leckereien, wie Wein oder Champagner, gefüllt.

Features

Some of the amazing features and services that I enjoyed at Ystad Saltsjöbad were:

The breakfast, which had a wide variety to select from. The food was simply amazing and fresh but you had to be early to get everything you want.

We enjoyed a 3-course meal at the restaurant.

The highlight of the whole stay was the SALT CREEK SPA ! The soothing environment and the massage were simply perfect. It is perfect to relax your mind and body.

So whenever you plan to visit Ystad, Malmö or Copenhagen for example, make sure that you plan your stay at Ystad Saltsjöbad! By the way, it was my first time that I had 40km beach in front of the hotel!

Das Frühstück, das eine große Auswahl anbot. Das Essen war einfach unglaublich und frisch, aber man musste früh genug dort sein, um alles zu bekommen, was man will.
Wir haben ein 3-Gänge-Menü im Restaurant genossen.
Das Highlight des ganzen Aufenthalts war der SALT CREEK SPA! Die beruhigende Umgebung und die Massage waren einfach hervorragend. Es ist perfekt, um Geist und Körper zu entspannen.

Also, wenn du eine Reise nach Ystad, Malmö oder Kopenhagen planst, stell sicher, dass du deinen Aufenthalt bei Ystad Saltsjöbad einkalkulierst! Übrigens war es mein erstes Mal, dass ich 40 km Strand vor dem Hotel hatte!
