Last week, I wanted to dress and run around, as I like without being „looked at“ (if you know what I mean). Therefore we decided to fly to Berlin. In Berlin you can be as you like! Incidentally, my first trip for my Instagram account was to Berlin in May 2 years ago!
Letzte Woche hatte ich mal wieder Lust anzuziehen und rumzulaufen, wie ich mag und nicht von der Seite angeschaut zu werden. Also ging es für uns ein Wochenende nach Berlin, denn in Berlin darf jeder so sein, wie er mag! Übrigens war meine erste Reise für meinen Instagram Account im Mai vor 2 Jahren auch nach Berlin!
This time I asked myself during my stay which city is my favorite city in Germany. Although I come from Cologne and love Cologne, it is not Cologne! The famous student and wine city Würzburg really impressed me last year! But my „home of choice” and home for 2 years in Germany was Munich. After the weekend in Berlin, I’m not so sure anymore because the individuality, creativity, versatility, openness and the start-up mentality have made me startled! For example in my village Amazon does not deliver within 2 hours and 5 times or UBER is unfortunately not available at our city.
Dieses Mal habe ich mich während meines Aufenthaltes gefragt, welche Stadt meine Lieblingsstadt in Deutschland ist. Obwohl ich aus Köln komme und Köln auch liebe, ist es nicht Köln! Die Studenten- und Weinstadt Würzburg hat mich auch im letzten Jahr richtig begeistert! Meine „Wahlheimat“ und kurzes Zuhause für 2 Jahre in Deutschland war bisher eigentlich immer München. Nach dem Wochenende in Berlin bin ich mir da nicht mehr so sicher, denn die Individualität, Kreativität, Vielseitigkeit, Offenheit und die Start-up Mentalität haben mich stutzig gemacht! Bei uns im Dorf liefert Amazon nicht innerhalb von 2 Stunden und das auch 5 Mal am Tag in den fünften Stock oder UBER gibt es bei uns leider auch nicht.
So I searched and found a mixture of Munich and Berlin in Berlin! Of course, this was not so easy with 12 individual districts in the fifth largest city in Europe! In the western district, we found our accommodation!
Also haben ich nach einer Mischung aus München und Berlin in Berlin gesucht und gefunden! Das war natürlich bei 12 individuellen Bezirken in der fünft größten Stadt Europas nicht so einfach! Im westlichen Bezirk sind wir dann fündig geworden!
The western district of Berlin is known for the well-known Kurfürstendamm with all shops that have rank and name, the Charlottenburg Palace and the Schiller Theater. Our accommodation the Hyperion Hotel was right in the center of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district.
Der westliche Berliner Stadtteil gewinnt an Namen durch den bekannten Kurfürstendamm mit allen Geschäften, die Rang und Namen haben, dem Schloss Charlottenburg und dem Schillertheater. Wir waren natürlich mittendrin mit unserer Unterkunft im Hyperion Hotel im Stadtteil Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
The newly renovated hotel is a bit like the Hamburg Hyperion Hotel, where we also stayed this year. The modern rooms with a balcony are absolutely amazing! I am always looking forward to the Rituals Body Lotion, the Shampoo and the Shower Gel! We girls were also blown away by the huge fitness and spa area, which is directly attached to the hotel! This is not always the case in a city hotel! I hardly know a city in which one can have breakfast as long as in Berlin. Also in the hotel we could sleep longer and have breakfast around noon! You can probably see in the pictures, that it tasted good!
Das frisch renovierte Hotel ähnelt etwas dem Hamburger Hyperion Hotel, wo wir vier dieses Jahr auch zusammen waren. Die modernen Zimmer mit Balkon können sich absolut sehen lassen! Ich freue mich jedes Mal auf die Rituals Body Lotion, das Shampoo und die Shower Gel! Wir Mädels waren auch hin und weg von dem riesigen Fitness- und Wellnessbereich, der direkt ans Hotel gebunden ist! Gerade in einem Stadthotel ist das nicht immer der Fall! Ich kenne kaum eine Stadt in der man so lange über den Tag frühstücken kann wie in Berlin. Auch im Hotel konnten wir länger schlafen und frühstücken als sonst! Das es mir geschmeckt hat, kann man wohl auf den Bildern sehen!
Of course, the location could not be better situated: on the one hand you can quickly reach the famous shopping mile and the KaDeWe, and on the other hand you can also quickly reach the idyllic places from here!
So if you want a quiet and relaxed city trip to Berlin, visit the Hyperion Hotel! Even it made me ponder about my favorite city in Germany! Maybe you still know a place that I do not know yet and should visit! You are welcome to mention it in the comments below!
Der Standort könnte natürlich nicht besser gelegen sein: einerseits ist man schnell an der berühmten Shoppingmeile und dem KaDeWe, und andererseits kommt man von hier aus auch ganz schnell zu den idyllischen Plätzen!
Wer sich also einen ruhigen und entspannten Städtetrip nach Berlin wünscht, ist im Hyperion Hotel genau richtig! Sogar mich hat es über meine Lieblingsstadt in Deutschland grübeln lassen!
