Madrid ist für jeden geeignet, der gerne läuft. Ich habe es ohne Mühe auf ca. 12 km am Tag gebracht und habe weder Bahn noch Bus vermisst. Genießt die frische Luft und seht euch die faszinierende Hauptstadt Spaniens an. Wer aber Bahn und Bus bevorzugt, kein Problem! Für lediglich 18 € erhaltet ihr ein 3-Tages-Ticket!

Breakfast in one of the coolest and most tasteful cafes
In Madrid habt ihr zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, um euch bei einem superleckeren Frühstück verwöhnen zu lassen. Wirklich jeder findet hier etwas. Egal ob ihr es lieber süß oder herzhaft mögt, die Auswahl in den individuellen Cafés ist riesig und lädt zum Schlemmen ein. Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, dass die Cafés auch von innen richtig geschmackvoll und individuell gestaltet sind.
In Madrid, you have plenty of options if you wish to pamper yourself with a super delicious breakfast. Really, everyone finds something here. Whether you prefer it sweet or hearty, the selection in the individual cafes is huge and invites you to feast. I especially liked the fact that the cafes are also tastefully and individually designed from the inside.
Eine tolle Möglichkeit ist zum Beispiel das federal café, bei dem ihr u. a. eine tolle Auswahl an diversen Kaffeespezialitäten und Frühstück findet. Das Café ist hell und rustikal eingerichtet und versprüht mit seinen wenigen bunten Akzenten einen Charme, bei dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilft euch gerne weiter. Superlecker und absolut zu empfehlen! Mein Tipp: Das Avocadotoast oder Ei Benedikt mit Lachs!
A great possibility is, for example, the federal café. An incredible selection of different coffee specialties and breakfast. The café is bright and rustic decorated; and with its few colorful accents a charm, where you immediately feel comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Very tasty and absolutely recommendable! My tip: The avocado toast or egg benedict with salmon!
Eine weitere coole Location ist das La Rollerie, wo es bis um 12.30 Uhr Frühstück gibt. Hier gibt es alles, was euer Herz begehrt und ihr für einen tollen Start in den Tag benötigt. Von gesund bis lecker: Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ihr genießt euer Frühstück in einem modern eingerichteten Ambiente mit freundlichen Bedienungen. Ihr solltet unbedingt die leckeren Waffeln mit weißer Schokolade probieren! Ein Traum!

From healthy to delicious, everything is freshly prepared and you enjoy your breakfast in a modernly decorated ambience with a friendly service. You should definitely try the delicious waffles with white chocolate! A dream!

Dann besucht doch einfach den Food market! Mercado de San Ildefonso ist nicht von Touristen überfüllt! Nutzt den Weg dorthin und schlendert gemütlich durch die Einkaufsstraßen, bei der sich ein Geschäft an das nächste reiht. Die perfekte Gelegenheit, um noch die letzten Geschenke für eure Liebsten zu Hause zu besorgen! Der Food market bietet durch seine zahlreichen Stände über mehrere Etagen etwas für jeden Geschmack!
Then simply visit the Food market, Mercado de San Ildefonso! At this spot, you will hardly find any tourists. Take the path there and stroll comfortably through the shopping streets, where one shop rides to the next. The perfect opportunity to get the last souvenirs for your loved ones at home! The food market offers a lot for every taste!

Wem es draußen zu heiß ist, der sollte die Chance ergreifen und im Kunstzentrum „CentroCentro“ mit einem Cocktail den Ausblick auf den Palacio de Cibeles genießen. Der Eintritt kostet 4 €, wird aber bei Bestellung eines Getränks oder Essens verrechnet.
If it is too hot outside, you should take the chance to enjoy the view of the Palacio de Cibeles in the “CentroCentro” art center. The entrance costs 4 €, but is charged when ordering a drink or food.
Wem das noch nicht hoch genug ist und lieber über die Dächer von Madrid schauen will, der kann für ebenfalls 4 € eine atemberaubende Aussicht vom Circulo de Bellas Arte erhaschen.
If that is not high enough and you would rather look over the rooftops of Madrid, you can also catch, for 4 €, a breathtaking view from the Circulo de Bellas Arte.
Das El Corte Ingles eignet sich auch bei schlechterem Wetter, da man sowohl von draußen als auch von drinnen einen Blick über Madrid erhalten. In diesem Kaufhaus habt ihr eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten, darunter einige Bars mit einer Menge Köstlichkeiten.
The El Corte Ingles is also suitable for bad weather because you can get a view of Madrid from the outside as well as from the inside. In this department store, you have a variety of possibilities, including some bars with a lot of delicacies.

Relax at the Retiro Park
Eine wunderschöne Kulisse zum Entspannen ist der Retiro Park (Parque del retiro). Er ist etwa 125 Hektar groß und bietet eine Vielzahl an Verweilmöglichkeiten. So könnt ihr zum Beispiel für 8 € pro Person für 45 Minuten ein Boot mieten.

Ohne lange zu suchen, habt ihr überall die Möglichkeit, euch mit Eis oder Getränken einzudecken. Legt euch in die Sonne und genießt den Ausblick auf das farbenprächtige Meer an wunderschönen Blumen, welches euch hier erwartet.
Nutzt am besten den Eingang am Puerta de Alcalá und vergesst nicht, ein schönes Fotos vor dem Monument zu machen!

Auf der Gran Via, und deren einzelne Seitengassen, findet ihr alle Geschäfte, die ihr kennt. Also? Was hält euch noch auf? Los geht’s! Ich bin ein riesen Zara Fan und habe es kaum geschafft an einem vorbeizugehen, ohne etwas zu kaufen, da es in Spanien auch noch günstiger ist!
On the Gran Via, and their individual side streets, you will find all the shops you know. So? What are you still waiting for? Here we go! I am a huge Zara fan and I have hardly managed to get past one without buying anything because it is even cheaper in Spain!
